These terms form a working website draft. The final booking proposal and confirmation supplied for a specific journey should be read together with these pages.
1. About Eeily Travels
Eeily Travels is a Sri Lanka-based travel company that creates tailor-made journeys and arranges travel services within Sri Lanka for direct travellers and travel-industry partners.
2. Travel Services
Services may include itinerary planning, accommodation, airport transfers, private transportation, chauffeur guides, specialist guides, sightseeing, excursions, wildlife safaris, rail arrangements, activities, wellness experiences and other confirmed ground services. The exact services included are those stated in the final written itinerary and quotation.
3. Tailor-Made Proposals and Quotations
Website itineraries are examples for inspiration and are not confirmed packages. Proposals depend on the information supplied by the traveller or travel partner and remain subject to availability, seasonal conditions, supplier terms and quotation validity.
4. Inclusions and Exclusions
Each quotation should identify included accommodation, room type, meal plan, transportation, guides, entrances and experiences, together with excluded flights, visas, insurance, personal expenses, optional activities, gratuities and any other items not expressly included.
5. Availability
Hotels, rooms, vehicles, guides, train seats, safaris and experiences remain subject to availability until confirmed. A quotation or proposed itinerary does not itself reserve services unless Eeily Travels states otherwise in writing.
6. Prices and Currency
Prices are based on the services, dates, passenger numbers, room arrangements, exchange conditions and taxes known when quoted. Changes requested by the traveller, supplier revisions or material changes before confirmation may require a revised price. The applicable currency will be stated in the quotation.
7. Booking Confirmation
A booking is generally confirmed only after the final proposal is accepted, the required deposit or payment is received, and the relevant services are successfully confirmed. Written confirmation should then be issued.
8. Payments
Unless a quotation states otherwise, a 30% non-refundable deposit is normally required to confirm a booking and the balance is due 30 days before arrival. Bookings made within 30 days may require full payment. Supplier-specific terms may require higher or earlier payments.
9. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements
Travellers are responsible for valid passports, visas, permits and compliance with current entry, transit and health requirements. Requirements may change and should be verified with official authorities before travel.
10. Travel Insurance
Appropriate travel insurance is strongly recommended, including suitable cover for cancellation, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, personal belongings, delays and planned activities.
11. Health, Safety and Fitness
Travellers should disclose relevant mobility, dietary, medical or accessibility requirements during planning. Participation remains subject to the traveller's judgment, operator guidance and any applicable restrictions. Eeily Travels does not provide medical advice.
12. Accommodation
Hotels, room categories, bedding and facilities are subject to availability and supplier confirmation. Images may represent a property or accommodation style but do not guarantee a particular room, view or facility unless specifically confirmed.
13. Transportation and Guides
Vehicle type depends on passenger numbers, luggage and programme design. Driving times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions and stops. Guide language and specialist arrangements must be confirmed.
14. Train Journeys
Train seats, classes, schedules and routes are controlled by the relevant operator and cannot be guaranteed until confirmed. Operational changes may require an alternative road transfer.
15. Wildlife and Natural Experiences
Wildlife sightings, whale or dolphin encounters and natural conditions cannot be guaranteed. Responsible viewing, safety and instructions from guides, rangers and operators should take priority.
16. Itinerary Changes
Reasonable changes may be necessary because of weather, road conditions, supplier changes, park operations, public events, safety concerns or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Eeily Travels will seek a suitable alternative where practical; supplier costs may affect the final arrangement.
17. Traveller Conduct
Travellers are expected to behave respectfully toward local communities, religious sites, wildlife, guides, drivers, hotel staff and other travellers, including observing applicable dress and behaviour requirements.
18. Third-Party Services
Some services are provided by independent hotels, transport providers, guides, activity operators, national parks and other suppliers. Their own operating rules and conditions may apply to the affected service.
19. Unused Services
No refund will normally be provided for services voluntarily not used after the journey begins, including accommodation, meals, transfers, sightseeing or activities, except where otherwise agreed.
20. Traveller-Requested Changes
Changes to a confirmed booking are subject to availability and may result in supplier costs, cancellation charges, administrative costs or rate differences. Applicable changes will be communicated where reasonably possible.
21. Events Beyond Reasonable Control
Eeily Travels cannot guarantee performance where arrangements are prevented or materially affected by severe weather, natural disaster, government action, civil disruption, epidemic, transport disruption or similar extraordinary circumstances. Refunds, credits or alternatives may depend on supplier terms.
22. Accuracy of Information
Reasonable efforts are made to keep website and travel information accurate, but facilities, schedules, entrance fees and conditions may change. The final confirmed itinerary and quotation are the primary booking reference.
23. Photographs and Website Content
Images represent destinations, experiences or accommodation styles and are not a guarantee of a particular room, view, wildlife sighting or exact experience unless specifically confirmed.
24. Acceptance
Payment of the required deposit or confirmation amount is treated as acceptance of the applicable booking conditions, cancellation policy, payment policy and confirmed itinerary.
